| Because Fainting Goats are year-round breeders, we plan our breeding seasons for May and November so we will be kidding in October and April. However, our goats don't always follow our schedule or we buy a doe that's already been bred, so we will occasionally have kids during other times of the year. We evaluate our Fainting Goat does when they are a year old to determine if they are ready for breeding. If we feel that the doe is not large enough, we will wait until she's at least 18 months old. We only breed our Fainting Goat does to full Fainting Goat bucks. We will NEVER breed a Fainting doe to a larger breed buck. Fainting Goat does can be bred twice a year, but we feel it is better for the health of our goats to only breed our does once a year. |
